On The Farm
Perched high on the hill Shibui farm is just as the Japanese name means,beautiful, yet eclectically simple, un- cluttered, yet pleasing to the eye.
The main 2 storey house is built from local Castlemaine stone both inside and out. Jacksons Creek borders the property on 3 sides and provides native habitats for wallabies, birds and wombats and the occasional Koala. The creek also supplies both fresh and spring water for all the horses. We have a good mix of paddocks and native bush. The views and sunsets are magnificent and can be viewed from the “Spa deck”, the landing, whilst riding on the sand arena, or simply look out the many French windows. Ruff, the Beagle, Pencil and Smudge (cats) all enjoy their serene environment.
Shibui farm is often used for photo shoots which can be accommodated by contacting us.
